A long weekend again so 2 days to go to Germany and climb some Basalt. I worked mostly on my air-time..
It was a bit wet again en mosty but we found some nice projects and climbed some cool routes.
We climbed Gunman 7b during my OS i was unable to clip the top anker and almost hit the deck. So it took me 2 more try’s to overcome the fear and finish it up.
New projects:
Diablo 7c bolted nice long hard move.
Mut der verzweiflung 7b/7b+ trad during the first push i popped my blue 0 cam…. some flying again.
And I’m still working on May flower on own pro… can’t get used to hand jamming.

Yess!! its official I’m sponserd by Petzl. Yesterday we signed our contracts. So we will be equipped whit the finest gear to climb the nicest and hardest lines.
The weather is realy nice the last week. Unfortunaly i have to finish a lot studie stuff.
But this week new symester so some time to breath again and go out. Today I was climbing whit Marianne who is back from iceland (read all about it here) . We had a great time at the Zuiderpark boulder.

Last weekend we had a long weekend. A great opportunity to explore a new climbing area. I heard lot about Etteringen climbing on own protection and stuff but never realy viseted the place. So now was the time. Only 3 hours a way in the schwarwchewalden in germany it’s no problem to drive in.
So we had 3 great days of crackclimbing witch is new to me. enough fore nice hands

Zo even uurtje voor college nog boulderen, heerlijk.
Meestal is de erg lastig te orgainseren naar klimhal, door naar RDM campus..
Maar sinds vorig jaar heb ik zo goed als op mijn weg naar school een boulderblok liggen.
Het blok op Zuid door Bart van Raaij. En met een uur de tijd lukt het wel zoon 15 Boulders te klimmen.

This weekend my last day of skiing.
I entered the mammut test event because Richard was not able to make it.
So i took his place and ski’d 900m up to the Julierpass together with a other 200 ski enthusiasts.
Unfortunately the weather became really bad so we waited fore 2 hours and used a small weather window to make some picture’s.
After a bad descent with shitty snow conditions we had a great dinner half way up a mountain.

At the Blokhoeve in Nieuwegein, in The Netherlands was the “Mountainsportday” (Bergsportdag).
For the Team it was a special day because the New team sponsor was promoted.
