Dennis van hoek. Born in ‘87, student IPO (Industrial Design Engineering) with the aim to improve all those half working climbing devices and to create a truly waterproof and breathable jacket. Dennis works as IRATA (Rope Access Engineer) and graduated in 2006 as a outdoor sports instructor at the CIOS Goes .
“I climb over 10 years, the last seven years much more fanatic. 2013 is my eight season of ice climbing competitions. In Winter, I am as long as possible in the Alps to do waterfall climbing and sports / traditional mixed climbing routes. I climb in the summer classic, alpine and ”trad” rock routes. My hardest mixed route Flash Twintowers, M10 + rated I climbed in 2012. My favorite mixed route, No-No-Way bold(M8), ”
The best result achieved in the Speed ‘game’ is a second place in the internationalIcefight in Rabenstein (ITA) . The best result obtained in Lead is a 10th place in South Korea. The announcement for the 2011 Icefight he is named as ”Der Niederländischer Speed Spezialist”.
Target for 2013: top 15 and try to achieve top 5 Speed
